Bubba's story

This is Kevin Michael "Bubba" Pate. Bubba lives in Tampa Florida. He was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis, a degenerative autoimmune disease where his immune system attacks the protective covering of the nerves in his brain. Due to Bubba's MS, he is experiencing vision loss which means we do not know if he will ever be able to drive a car. His balance is affected and causes him to fall often. Bubba is physically weak, as well as regularly sick with nausea and vomiting. Bubba's MS is relapsing and has not yet responded to any of the medications & treatments he has sought for help.
Before this diagnosis, Bubba was a normal, very active teenage boy. He earned good grades and would do anything do help anyone in need. He is an amazing kid with a very big heart! 
When he was little all he ever wanted to do was be in the Army like his father. When his mother was pregnant with his yongest sister, she asked him what he wanted to name the baby. He chose Kadence Gunner (all military terms).
The reason we are asking for donations is to allow Bubba and his Mom to travel to California to participate in a special stem cell therapy with the hope that this new treatment could possibly help his MS tremendously. Also, to assist him with getting a special service dog to assist with balance and regular activities of daily life around the house.
Bubba & his family have been through so much financially, emotionally and physically.
